Under the Sea

This juvenile boxfish was found on a recent expedition into the "coral triangle" bordered by the Phillipines, Malaysia and Indonesia. They went three miles below the surface and discovered this crazy creature. Woah.

thank you anzie! i followed a link on that page to find this interesting bit of info: "The Celebes Sea has somewhat attained an international notoriety for its pirates who prey not only on small time fishermen but also giant container ships. Nowadays, these pirates have high-tech weapons and equipment like radar and GPS navigation devices and ride on high-speed motorboats, just like in the Wes Anderson film The Life Aquatic." Pirates with GPS systems? thumbs down.

Yeah, but, anything Wes Anderson has the golden touch.
